About the Training

A Journey Beyond the Mat
This isn’t just about learning postures. Our 200-Hour Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training is a transformational month-long immersion into yoga as a way of life. You’ll deepen your personal practice, learn to hold space for others, and discover your authentic voice as a teacher.

This training will meet you in your strength and in your softness, in your certainty and in your doubt. Through it all, you’ll be guided back again and again to presence, to breath, to truth.

What Makes This Training Unique

  • Small group container (8–12 students): Unlike large trainings with 20–30 people, you’ll receive personalized mentorship and direct feedback. You’ll also form genuine connections with your international cohort.
  • Four-week immersion: Many trainings are squeezed into 3 weeks or spread over months at home, making it harder to truly integrate. Our 4-week format gives space to learn, rest, and embody the teachings without the stress of daily life pulling you away.
  • Full immersion in paradise: Nestled in sacred, natural beauty, you’ll live and breathe yoga daily, surrounded by spiritual energy that supports deep transformation.
  • Teaching from day one: Unlike many trainings that wait until the very end, we integrate practice teaching throughout. You’ll be guiding peers, receiving feedback, and building confidence every week so that by graduation, you’re not just certified, you’re truly ready to teach.

What You’ll Study

Our curriculum blends tradition with modern embodiment, rooted in a multi-dimensional lineage and guided by both science and spirit. You’ll explore:

  • Asana practice & labs (alignment, functional movement, intelligent sequencing)
  • Pranayama, meditation & mantra (breathwork, subtle body practices, stillness)
  • Philosophy & lineage (Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Sutras, non-dual Tantra, history & ethics)
  • Applied anatomy & biomechanics (safe, functional, embodied movement)
  • Teaching skills (cueing, sequencing, adjustments, class theming, space holding)
  • Self-inquiry & community (study groups, reflection, integration, mentorship)

How You’ll Learn

Our methodology is experiential and empowering. Each day includes:

  • Morning asana, breathwork, & meditation practice
  • Philosophy discussion & self-inquiry
  • Anatomy and alignment workshops
  • Peer practice teaching & feedback
  • Rest, reflection, and integration

Certification is earned, not given. Graduates must demonstrate competence, safety, and presence in teaching. This ensures you leave confident, capable, and ready to share yoga with integrity.

The Graduate Vision

At Samastha Yoga Shala, we believe a yoga teacher is more than someone who guides postures. Our graduates leave with:

  • The ability to lead safe, skillful, and accessible classes
  • A deeper relationship with themselves and the yogic path
  • Tools to integrate yoga into everyday life, on and off the mat
  • A global community of fellow teachers and friends

You’ll emerge not just with a certification, but as an embodied teacher, someone who teaches from lived experience, grounded in compassion, steadiness, and authenticity.

Are you ready to step into your practice, your teaching, and your truth?

What to Expect: The Student Journey:

From your first sunrise practice to your final teaching practicum, this month-long immersion is designed to guide you deeper each day.

  • Daily immersion in yoga: Begin each morning with a 90-minute Hatha Vinyasa practice, followed by a nourishing meal to ground and restore. Afternoons blend study, reflection, and practice teaching in supportive learning blocks. Evenings close with meditation & integration practices to settle your body and mind.
  • Study & self-discovery: Each day you’ll dive into yoga philosophy, mantra, and meditation, as well as anatomy and alignment workshops. Long meal breaks give you space to rest, reflect, and integrate what you’re learning.
  • Practice teaching from day one: Unlike many trainings where teaching is saved for the end, you’ll start practicing right away. Weekly teaching circles and feedback sessions ensure that by the end of the month, you’ll feel confident, capable, and ready to lead classes with integrity.
  • Community & connection: You’ll be part of a small group of just 8–12 students, forming close bonds in your study groups and daily circles. This container allows for deeper support, accountability, and genuine international friendships.
  • The final step: The month concludes with your teaching practicum, where you’ll demonstrate your ability to guide a class with clarity, presence, and safety. Certification is earned, not given, so you leave truly prepared to share yoga.

This isn’t just a training; it’s a full immersion into the yogic path. You’ll walk away not only with a teaching certificate, but with the confidence, self-awareness, and embodied wisdom to carry yoga into every part of your life.
